7 . 14 . 2015    Had a small piece of gesso'd paper left over from the previous painting.   Didn't want to waste it, so here's a quick 5 1/2" x 13" watercolor.  The thing about working on a gesso'd substrate with watercolor is that you can't let the paint dry as you move down the page unless you do it in sections... i.e....sky, middle ground, foreground.
