11 . 20 . 2015  ...  Graphite Gray by Daniel Smith is a color that I really like using ... it blends well with other colors and used alone and allowed to dry it withstands overpainting very well.  I like to paint dark earthy colors, so it just works very well for me.  Then if you mix it with Texture Medium you can get some fantastic action with color...Pretty much this entire painting was done using the Graphite Gray and also the French Ochre ... another Daniel Smith color.  The sky has some Cobalt Blue thrown in....
